Portugal + Morocco

Why visit one new place when you could visit two amazing locations on the same trip!?! That’s what you’ll get when you experience Lisbon and Marrakech with us. See for yourself why Portugal is one of Europe’s top destinations before heading to the red city of Marrakech – an unforgettable jewel in North Africa.

Here’s what you can expect:

Day 1

Begin your adventures in beautiful Lisbon, Portugal where you'll experience cobbled alleyways, ancient ruins and white-domed cathedrals. Get to know your traveling companions over a welcome dinner.

Day 2

Start your adventures in Lisbon with a special tour where you'll discover the amazing city. You'll learn about its history as you experience unique food from Tascas (local taverns) where everything is freshly made. In the afternoon you'll experience Lisbon's seven hills by electric bike!

Day 3

Your first stop in Sintra must be the Palácio Nacional da Pena. This collection of onion domes, Moorish keyhole gates, writhing stone snakes and colorful towers is a true feast for the eyes. It is considered the greatest expression of 19th-century romanticism in Portugal. Next, we'll visit Cascais for a meal fresh from the sea.

Day 4

Climb aboard our vintage Portuguese 4x4s and tackle the best of the Sintra region. In just one day, you’ll explore the mysterious Quinta da Regaleira, eat a traditional Portuguese lunch, cruise off-road through Sintra’s lush forests, and emerge at the seaside cliffs of mainland Europe’s westernmost point, Cabo da Roca.

Day 5

Salaam Morocco! Your adventure continues in Marrakech, where it seems that all the colors, sounds, and tastes of your dreams come together in one incredible city. After your arrival, check into your riad and then jump right into a tour of all the best foods your Moroccan grandmother would prepare for you.

Day 6

Prepare to be dazzled as you visit some of Marrakech's top sights today.  You'll see both the Bahia Palace, famous for the intricate artisan handiwork, and the iconic blue Majorelle Garden. In the afternoon, visit the souks for some non-stop shopping.

Day 7

Before your afternoon adventures, you can choose to do as the Moroccans do and visit a hammam. You'll be cleansed and scrubbed from head to toe before finishing with a relaxing massage. Then, head to the Agafay Desert, a mineral land with a lunar landscape. Take a sunset camel ride, eat dinner in a traditional bedouin tent, and sleep in your luxury tent.

Day 8

Spend the morning relaxing in the desert.  Choose to hike, explore on horseback, take a dip in the pool, or even participate in morning yoga. After lunch, head back to Marrakech for some final purchases and one last delicious dinner.

Day 9

Say “bslaama” to Moroccco with one last treat before heading to the airport for the transatlantic flight home.
