Student Italian Vacanza

Come see, taste, and experience La Dolce Vita on a student tour through Italy’s most iconic cities and coastlines. From floating through Venice to diving into Florence’s art scene, hiking the colorful trails of Cinque Terre, and soaking up history in Rome, this 9-day trip blends iconic sights with unforgettable moments.

Day 1

Welcome to Venice, where winding canals and historic charm greet you from the moment you arrive. Kick off your Italian adventure with a scenic boat ride from the airport to your hotel—your first taste of La Dolce Vita in motion.

Day 2

Explore Venice on a Grand Canal Cruise through the heart of the city. Wander through Piazza and Basilica San Marco in daylight, cross the famous bridges—Bridge of Sighs and Rialto Bridge — and spend the afternoon learning how to row your very own Venetian hand-crafted all-wood batellina craft.

Day 3

Discover Murano glass and Burano lace on a guided day trip from Venice with a small group. Watch master artisans at work, explore local workshops, and stroll through the vibrant island streets as your guide shares the rich history behind each craft.

Day 4

Train through the beautiful Tuscan countryside into Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. Take in some of Florence's top art works such as Botticelli's 'Birth of Venus' and Michelangelo's 'David'. View Brunalleschi's revolutionary dome (maybe even climb to the top!). Stop for a bite (or more) at the Mercado Centrale.

Day 5

Bike through Florence's historic streets, discovering landmarks and local culture—with a gelato stop, of course. Then dive into a hands-on cooking class and market tour to end the day with pasta, sweet treats, and new skills.

Day 6

Explore all five vibrant Cinque Terre villages on a full-day trip from Florence, hiking cliffside trails and soaking in epic coastal views. Wander colorful streets, sample local bites, and get a real feel for life along Italy’s Riviera.

Day 7

Travel by train to Rome and jump right into the city’s timeless energy with a 3-hour guided eTuk tour. Ride through ancient streets in a cozy electric tuk-tuk, uncovering iconic landmarks and hidden corners as your guide shares stories that bring the Eternal City to life.

Day 8

Take a full-day adventure from Rome to Pompeii and Naples by high-speed train, where Italy’s ancient past meets lively present. Wander the preserved ruins of Pompeii with a guide, uncovering stories frozen in volcanic ash, then enjoy a classic Neapolitan pizza lunch and explore highlights of Naples.

Day 9

Wish "salude" over one last cup of espresso or gelato before the transatlantic flight home.
