Iceland for Sweethearts
Glaciers, waterfalls, and volcanos. Photographic landscapes and movie settings. Geothermal lagoons and icy lakes. Romance and adventure. Iceland is the place for sweethearts and nature-lovers, for heart-stopping moments that take your breath away.
Day 1
Meet your travel family at a Welcome Breakfast in Reykjavik. Get on the road for our first adventure into the Snaefellsness Peninsula, to the town of Grundarfjordur. On the way, stop at the Geirabakari Kaffihus bakery, made famous in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Hike to the beautiful Kirkjufell waterfall, featured in Game of Thrones.
Day 2
Have your camera handy for this gorgeous day. Visit the cliffs of Arnarstapi at the foot of the Snaefellsjökull Glacier. Gaze across the natural arch of Gatklettur and visit the surreal, dreamlike Black Budakirkja.
Day 3
Return along the scenic drive to the capital city of Reykjavik. Check out city life, visit the Hallgrimskirkja, the tallest church in Iceland and designed after the glaciers and terrain of the country. Dress up for a night on the town with dinner and a show at the Harpa.
Day 4
Dive deep into Rekjavik. Take some free time to explore all the must-sees of the city. Treat yourself to an evening in the romantic geothermal pools of The Blue Lagoon.
Day 5
Experience the Golden Circle – some must sees of Iceland’s countryside. This day will include the Bruarfoss Waterfall, Skogafoss Waterfall, Fjaorargljufur Canyon, and other jaw-dropping sights.
Day 6
Say “Bless” to Reyjavik, leaving city life behind, as you travel to Vik. The black sand beaches of Vik are often listed as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Stick your feet in the sand and explore the quaint downtown.
Day 7
Spend the morning exploring the Highlands surrounding Vik and the Katla volcano. Then travel to the land of the glacial lake, Jokulsarlon.
Day 8
Start the day with an ice cave tour, and end with the beautiful Diamond Beach. Will you catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights?
Day 9
Enjoy a Farewell Breakfast with your fellow travelers as you reflect on your adventures together. Then, take the optional shuttle back to Reykjavik, or continue on with your next adventure.

Trip price includes all transportation within and between cities, cozy lodgings, exciting excursions, breakfast each morning, professional photo images captured of couples in each city, and two personal tour guides (and friends for life). The price excludes travel insurance, transatlantic flights, and lunch/dinner each day.
