Check it out…

Day 1

Arrive in the theatre capital of the world. Step back in time as you take in a play at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre—just the way the luckiest commoners would have watched Shakespeare’s plays—standing right next to the stage, in the action. Ward off jet lag while staying “on your toes.”

Day 2

See the highlights of London on a guided bike tour. Sail through the Royal Parks, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and more. You’ll be amazed how much you can see! After dinner, view the city lights on your way to the famous West End to catch a live musical.

Day 3

In Cambridge, spend the morning punting along the River Cam. Relax and take in the fantastic views along “The Backs” from a lively and knowledgeable guide as they punt us along. Don’t worry —you’ll be free to wander on foot through the architecture of the beautiful and welcoming Pembroke College to get the insider’s experience. Keep an ear out for music and mini-plays in the streets from actors on their way to The Fringe.

Day 4

This jam-packed day starts hundreds of feet in the air! You’ll see all of London from the majestic London Eye. Next, go underground where the chilling, thrilling characters of the London Dungeon come alive on stage. Explore along the River Thames, sampling the local fare. Step back in time again at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, but this time as a noble person, watching a play from the comfort of your own seat.

Day 5

Visit the birthplace of the famous English playwright, William Shakespeare, in the idyllic town of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Experience what early life would be like for this young actor and playwright. See a play performed by The Royal Shakespeare Company.

Day 6

Witness the Changing of the Guard ceremony outside Buckingham Palace. Discover the fortress, palace, and infamous prison–The Tower of London, the iconic Tower Bridge, and more Crown Jewels than you can count. Then, back to the West End for the last London musical.

Day 7

Say goodbye to London and enjoy the English countryside as you train to Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival, a unique celebration where performers flood hundreds of stages all over Edinburgh. Soak in the energy and excitement on every street corner, and imagine a 20-something Lin Manuel Miranda performing on these streets. End the evening with a performance of the world famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Day 8

This is a day for royalty! Stroll the famous Royal Mile and explore a castle straight out of a fairytale. Test your classiest manners at High Tea and finish the day with a performance unique to Fringe.

Day 9

Dive into the world of Harry Potter, visiting the sites that inspired J.K. Rowling’s famous series. Commemorate the end of an amazing trip with a hike to Arthur’s Seat—an ancient volcano sitting 251 meters above sea level, and the legendary home of Camelot. Look over the Scottish countryside and reflect on your experience.

Day 10

Time to say goodbye to Scotland and relax on the transatlantic flight back home.
